Set Up Your Pay

Enter your hourly pay, work state, and shift details. Review your annual wages, filing status, and state and local tax settings against your pay stub. Add differentials and tips where they apply.

How Overtime Is Figured

The app offers federal weekly overtime and an optional California daily overtime setting. It uses the hours you enter, base pay, and configured differentials to estimate straight-time pay and overtime or double-time premiums. Unpaid breaks are excluded. Employer policies and employment agreements may affect your actual pay.

Why Your Paycheck May Differ

The app uses 2026 tax tables. Federal estimates use wage income, filing status, and the standard deduction. State estimates use simplified rates you can override. Credits, itemized deductions, and the federal overtime deduction are not included. Withholding elections, benefits, and year-to-date earnings can also affect your paycheck. Results are estimates, not tax advice.

Restore Purchases

Use the Apple ID that made the purchase, open the app's subscription screen, and tap “Restore Purchases.” If your subscription does not appear, check that it is active in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions, then contact us for help.

Cancel Your Subscription

Shift Value offers a 1-month free trial for new subscribers, then $3.99 per year. Open iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Shift Value. Cancel at least 24 hours before the end of your trial or current period to avoid renewal. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription. Read the subscription terms.

Delete Your Data

Use “Delete all my data” in the app or delete the app to remove its saved data from your phone. You manage any existing device backups separately. See the Privacy Policy.
